The electroplated diamond wheel is an abrasive wheel that is known for keeping its shape. The electroplated wheel has a single layer of abrasive grains attached to the wheel core by very strong Nickel matrix coating that chemically and physically attaches the Diamond.
Applications as simple as chainsaws and bandsaws to the more complex special wheels.
Harder resin bond wheels hold their form longer, but fast-cutting ability is reduced as hardness is increased.
Metal bond wheels hold their form considerably longer than resin, but unless cutting glass or other abrasive material the wheel bonding will not break down.
The only guaranteed option for holding its shape is electroplated wheel.
